Story of One, Story of Many / Amina Khayyam Dance Company
What happens when everything about you gets tarnished with a single brush and your story becomes one of many…
Following Amina Khayyam Dance Company’s critically-acclaimed production ONE, this new work uses high energy Kathak featuring the cyclic phenomenon of south Asian classical arts and philosophy to tell the experiences of migrants maligned with generalisation and stereotype.
Three dancers weave individual stories accompanied by live music featuring tabla and cello.
