The North Wall, Oxford Playhouse and Pegasus Theatre are delighted to announce this year’s chosen Circuit Breaker company: Kuumba Nia Arts.
Circuit Breaker is a brand-new pilot programme to support the artistic development of a Global Majority-led performing arts company from Oxfordshire.
Kuumba Nia Arts is a Black led Oxford-based touring theatre company that produces and develops work based on traditional African theatrical forms and aesthetics. We are thrilled to introduce them as our first Circuit Breaker company and look forward to welcoming them into our venues to support their development and future work.
The programme is a partnership between The North Wall, Oxford Playhouse and Pegasus Theatre as part of their commitment to and with support by the Oxford Cultural Anti-Racism Alliance (OCARA).
