The North Wall Summer season is now on sale.
We are delighted to be celebrating the breadth and brilliance of Oxfordshire artists
over the next few months, with performances from Kuumba Nia Arts & Unlock The Chains Collective, Coriander Theatre, poet Steve Larkin, and Oxford School of Drama amongst others.
In the gallery, highlights include our Art Weeks exhibition, Touching the Earth. Curated by Jenny Blyth, the exhibition features sculptures from Oxford’s own Martin Smith shown together with paintings from Addy Gardner. First Imprints is a unique science/art collaboration between Oxford Printmakers and the Oxford University Museum of Natural History to coincide with a major new exhibition of rare fossils.
In the theatre, we are hosting Wildcard’s explosive piece of dazzling gig theatre Electrolyte – catch them first at The North Wall before they embark on an epic 31-venue tour.
In July, associate company Poltergeist Theatre give us a sneak preview of their new show Art Heist – and we premiere Lewis Doherty’s BOAR as part of the second annual HAUNT Festival.
In August, don’t miss the chance to catch our ArtsLab Showcase, led this year by The PappyShow, who danced their way in to our hearts with BOYS / GIRLS earlier this year. The residency is open to performers, technicians and designers interested in working with an award-winning physical theatre company for three weeks.
We look forward to sharing these shows with you.
