The North Wall’s Autumn 2022 programme is on sale now! We have some brilliant performances and exhibitions coming up over the next few months including…
Brown Boys Swim by Karim Khan (22-24 September) – a lyrical coming of age tale about two best friends, Mohsen and Kash, and their quest to attend the hottest event of the year – the end of term pool party. There’s just one problem…they can’t swim.
Our first home-grown production since the Fringe First award-winning play E8 in 2019, and direct from the Edinburgh Fringe, this show is set to be fierce, funny and totally unmissable. Book tickets
Pigfoot Theatre’s Hot in Here (13-14 Oct) is a carbon neutral dance party celebrating action for climate justice and amplifying the voices of young climate activists from around the world; whilst our creative associates Ad Infinitum delve into the world of Greek mythology with Beautiful Evil Things (2-3 Nov), a high-energy take on the tale of the Trojan War told through the eyes of four extraordinary women.
Our friends Creation Theatre return with a joyfully anarchic Christmas show, The Tale of the Beauty and the Tail of the Beast (4 Dec – 7 Jan); and for little ones there’s also fun to be had at Tiny Ideas Festival – Oxford’s first early years arts festival for children aged 0-7 and their families, taking place from 30 Sept – 2 Oct.
In the gallery, we’ll be welcoming the Society of Wood Engravers back with their 84th annual exhibition, and Oxfordshire Printmakers Cooperative for A Time To Gather, especially for the festive season. Anna Dumitriu presents a solo exhibition of BioArt works exploring synthetic biology, genomics, carbon capture, and infectious disease in conjunction with IF Oxford this October.
Plus there’s comedy, music, outdoor events, workshops, film and talks throughout the autumn season.
