ARCHIVED: PROJECT END DATE: 30 OCT 2010
In October 2010, The North Wall joined forces with the prestigious Actors’ Touring Company to deliver a week-long outreach project to fourteen talented young actors, designers and technicians from Oxfordshire.
Talented new writer, Tom Wells, whose work includes Me, as a Penguin at the Arcola, was commissioned to write a short piece in response to ATC’s recent work Ivan And The Dogs, which had previously been staged at The North Wall as a public performance. Under the direction of Jane Fallowfield, the newly-formed ensemble spent a week rehearsing and developing Well’s script, entitled There Is A Light That Never Goes Out.
Project Ivan was performed in Oxford at The North Wall on 29 October and in London at The Soho Theatre on 30 October.
