The Not Quite Royal Variety Show

Early bird tickets are now SOLD OUT but more tickets are available on the day on a first come, first served basis.

The North Wall, Cutteslowe Community Centre and The Cutteslowe Garden Project are working with community partners to present The Not Quite Royal Variety Show.

This free event is for local residents to come together and enjoy an afternoon of performances and workshops to celebrate the Royal Jubilee.

Bring a picnic, a sun hat (or waterproof!) and something to sit on. Please take your rubbish home with you, let’s keep our park clean!

Main Stage

12pm Conrad Murray
Conrad Murray is a rapper, beatboxer, live looper and singer.

1pm Crown Catwalk
Have you got a fantastic crown that you’d like to show off? Join us for the Crown Catwalk and admire an array of dazzling crowns.

1.15pm David Gibb
Give your family a musical experience to remember and join David as he takes you on a trip through his hilarious and often surreal imagination.

2.30pm Zumba Kids
Zumba Kids present an exciting routine that they have been working hard on this term.

2.40pm North Wall Inventors: A Royal Breakfast
The North Wall Inventors spent one day creating this play, they can’t wait to share it with you.

2.50pm YouthLab: A (Not So) Royal Night Out
A group of young theatre makers from The North Wall present a piece inspired by the night the two princesses celebrated VE Day on the streets of London in 1945.

3.30pm The Pantasy Steel Band
A mix of traditional Caribbean Music and some more well-known Calypso covers.

5.15pm Out of the Blue
Out of the Blue is Oxford’s internationally acclaimed a cappella group, and the top a cappella group in the UK by number of championships.

Workshop Tent

12pm – 12.45pm Stay and Play: Crown Making for families.

12.45pm – 1.45pm Museum of Oxford: Making Wind Chimes for families.

2pm – 2.30pm Latin Dance Workshop for 6 – 10 year olds.

3pm – 4pm Sunnymead Minnows: Under 5s Singing Workshop.

Children should be accompanied by an adult in all workshops.
